Finding Inspiration in Every Student

In 2025, I launched a new business, Strategic Essays. This endeavor is aimed at helping high school students with college planning and preparation.

I am an accomplished communicator and hold a BA in Communication from USC. I have held several leadership roles at both public and private companies.

During my time away from the professional sector, I served as an editor for the Hillview School Newsletter. After successfully assisting my own children gain access to their “reach” colleges and other programs, I am hoping to help new students matriculate into their ideal post-high school endeavor.

I launched this website www.strategicessays.com along with a “Spring Special” offering low priced assistance with the main aspects of college planning with a concentration on laser-focused, school-specific messaging designed to get the applicant noticed.

I am familiar with many of the interfacing platforms including College Board, Common Application and Naviance

My Goal for You

While application season may be coming to an end for the class of 2025, busy high school seniors may still need help with scholarship applications, internship applications and resume cover letters.

For the rising high school senior, it is never too early to start looking at essay prompts, potential colleges and effective “messaging” strategies for the coming year. I am a firm believer that the “early bird catches the worm.”

Don’t leave your applications for the fall, when you are loaded down with work, worrying about standardized tests, or wanting to attend football games and other school events. Start this spring/summer!
